have the sudden urge to blog... despite having so much work to do.. oh wells..
finally understood why some people like to blog, why some people are hard-core bloggers, there are others who just blog to update, others blog to attract attention, and well many many more..
oki, that's not my point of blogging today..
i have a new found love.. but finding someone to share this new found love and joy is not easy.. the only one who can really share this joy and love with me isnt around, or should i say, cant be bothered anymore?? hahaa..
ever heard of the saying, " the people you mix around reflects you"? yups, the friend you make and hang out with do in a way reflect something about yourself.. its like same kind of people attract and click :) yups, i so i need to find more alike and like-minded friends so that i can share this new love..
attending wed lectures started off as a chore, but it became something to look forward to since last week, coz i was taught about the SIXTIES!! yups, the hippies! learnt about the civil rights movement and also about the student protest in Paris! a simple student protest shook the foundations of the whole society and government! the university students took over the administration building, leading to the closure of the campus, and triggered the whole chain of reaction.. wow! the power of student masses!! the intellectual revolution and new cultural movement in China were also sparked by students who wanted reform so badly! when i was in canada, i could feel and see for myself the power that the student body has!! experienced strike on my week one of school therE! finally understood the realities that a strike can trigger. no wonder strikes are ban in my home country. jus imagine..the power of student body in spore.. hmmmmmm
its amazing how lecturers can integrate events into their lectures!! When Obama won, every lecturer mentioned him in class as an example of some kind, from maths, to psychology, to geog!! yes!! haha... and recent man-u's lost is equally replicated in my lect in spore!! haha.. my prof cld even illustrate man-u's lost with concepts and theories! haha.. lame..
